What is Good Teaching?
When I reflect on my own teachers, several individuals come to mind because I rate them as great teachers. One was a secondary school teacher, one a university lecturer, one a violin teacher, and one a life/spiritual teacher. These four I could call my role-model teachers – not to imply that I wish to be exactly like them, but rather that either consciously or subconsciously I emulate certain of their qualities and skills in my own way. On reflection, I notice that these teachers possess certain key qualities and capabilities in common:
